You find the visual TikZ guide on CTAN.
The objectives of that guide:
- One image per command or parameter.
- the minimum amount of text possible.
- the most complete possible update after update.
- keep the same structure as VisualPSTricks
For instance, I was looking for a nice decoration pattern for a path. The visual TikZ provides a nice overview of the patterns on a few pages, because there is only minimal amount of text. Just the plain code and pattern. Nice! Kudos to Jean Pierre Casteleyn et. al :-)
